Jumping the Gun

MoveOn.org has chosen to endorse Barack Obama, just before the all-important Super Tuesday primary, right on the heals of John Edwards dropping out of the race. Here is what Senator Obama had to say about it:
"In just a few years, the members of MoveOn have once again demonstrated that real change comes not from the top-down, but from the bottom-up. From their principled opposition to the Iraq war - a war I also opposed from the start - to their strong support for a number of progressive causes, MoveOn shows what Americans can achieve when we come together in a grassroots movement for change. I thank them for their support and look forward to working with their members in the weeks and months ahead."
While he opposed the war from the start, his voting for an increase in troops later is a sign that he will do what is necessary to survive politically. While I fully expect there to be a Clinton/Obama ticket, I think Hillary is more capable for fulfilling all the requirements as President. Let's give her 4-8 years and then see if Obama still wants to play first chair.

Experience is a sticking point for me, and Senator Clinton has it, and has good reasons for her voting record, in my opinion. In the last debate, when it was just the two of them, it was clear they both knew that they were debating their running mate for the Presidency. It was very cozy.
